The Governor of the Banco de Mexico, Sr. Guillermo Ortize, presented the 20 pesos polymer to the public. Also at the presentation was the Treasurer of Australia, Mr. Costello. Printing will be 50% in Australia and 50% in Mexico. Plans are to have all notes printed using polymer in 2003. The design of the 20 pesos is the same as the current paper issue.
